Conference Highlights
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Conference centers Latinx people’s experiences in educational contexts and the knowledges, values, and assets that can form the basis for a liberatory education agenda for Latinx students and communities. Be in community with us as we lift compelling models that focus on emancipatory approaches at the individual, classroom, school, community, and system levels.

Outcomes:
-
Reflect on students as co-constructors of knowledge, curriculum as a tool for empowerment, school as a space for cultivating justice, families as co-educators and sources of knowledge and skills, and education as a life-long endeavor.
-
Learn about federal resources and policies directed towards reimagining education systems from early education through higher education.
Intended For:
-
Education leaders, practitioners, influencers, advocates, and innovators calling for a commitment to emancipatory approaches to education in all settings.
